An exciting opportunity has arisen for a graduate to take on a full time internship at the Tri-Borough’s (Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea) Children’s Services Department as a Projects Support Intern. Candidates are strongly advised to apply as early as possible.
Key Tasks and Deliverables
• Administrative support for project managers Collating and reporting project status to senior management • Providing standards, methodologies and a set of PM tools • Managing project documentation (including risk registers, schedules, incident logs etc) • Basic support services • Providing estimating, scheduling and risk management support to PMs • Coordinating plans between projects and monitoring resource use • Monitoring and reviewing project performance • Quality monitoring and enforcement of standards (Projects and Service Desk) • Arranging meetings, capturing and circulating minutes, data capture and data gathering • Other tasks as required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • A well organised individual with an ability to plan ahead • A strong team worker • A Self motivating individual, able to act on own initiative and be proactive • Excellent time management skills • Strong computing skills
