Leadership programme for disabled students

Common Purpose is a charity that runs leadership development courses and they are currently running a programme in partnership with Santander called Frontrunner for Disabled Students. It's a three-day residential course that takes students behind the scenes of a city to visit an incredible range of organisations and their leaders across different sectors (many of whom will be potential employers). Following the course, students will be able to apply to the Santander sponsored internship scheme.

Alpha: Paid Internship Opportunity

Alpha works to prevent illicit procurement of technologies with a use in prohibited nuclear and missile programmes, as pursued by Iran, North Korea, Pakistan and others. Alpha has numerous strands that contribute to this objective, including educating industry on export controls and proliferation risks, researching the techniques used by proliferators to acquire goods illicitly, and conducting international outreach to improve the implementation of trade controls in third countries. Alpha also actively supports the work of UN organisations, the IAEA, and national governments.

The Alpha team are looking for one or more interns to work with the project for the academic term, with possible extension over the summer. The primary and initial focus of the internship will be admin support to the team, but interns may also have the opportunity to conduct and publish research. Duties are as follows:
